The Community Council has received a number of complaints regarding fly tipping. Some residents in the village are not disposing of their used furniture and other items correctly, leaving them dumped outside of their properties. Everyone has a duty to get rid of their waste legally and safely and there is a fine of  up to £50,000 for anyone who is caught fly tipping. Cardiff County Council offer a  ‘Bulky Item Collection Service’ there is a fee of £15, alternatively you can take your items to the many tips located around Cardiff.
